Culford School, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk,IP28 6TX
The Culford estate is just a 10 minute drive from the centre of the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds and from both the A14 and A11, providing an ideal venue for conferences, seminars and residential courses, as well as corporate or private hospitality.

Culford has a variety of rooms available, which are suitable for all kinds of events: from a formal boardroom seating 14 and IT suites that accommodate up to 20 individuals plus trainer, through to a studio theatre seating over 100 and a large hall that can comfortably seat up to 350. We can provide AV equipment, any variety of catering from the simplicity of coffee and biscuits through to a formal silver service dinner, or arrange for a bar, if required.

For those wishing to stage residential courses, we can provide accommodation in twin, triple, small dormitory (4 to 8 people) and larger dormitory (8 people and above) styles. The Boarding Houses offer modern kitchen and bathroom facilities and each House has at least one en-suite study bedroom for course leaders.

The Sports and Tennis Centre and grounds are capable of hosting all kinds of sporting events and the academic and boarding facilities of the School are suitable for a wide variety of residential purposes.

The Sports Centre includes a 900 square metre sports hall (uses range from indoor 5-a-side football, cricket nets, climbing wall, netball and general P.E.), 25 metre indoor swimming pool, squash, fitness and dance studios. There is also a fantastic championship standard Indoor Tennis Centre. Most of these facilities are available for business hire during the school holidays and occasionally it is possible to make them available during term-time, dependent on your requirements

Culford Hall sits in approximately 480 acres of historic Suffolk parkland with a mixture of pastures, woodland and formal grounds surrounding it. The delights of a marquee on the formal lawns in the summer, with Jazz and Pimms as the perfect accompaniment, are hard to beat; but then so is the fun of a winter Highland Ball with a piper sounding guests in to dinner and the energy of a live band to follow.

Whatever your initial ideas please contact our team who will be pleased to advise you further and help you to work out exactly what you want. We take great delight in putting on special events, so whatever your plans, we can help you turn them into a great day, a weekend or even a week or more at Culford
